Time: The reception begins at 4pm and ends at 9pm. Please arrive at 4pm, not earlier.
Access:
- By subway: The Prospect Park (B-Q-S) station is a 5 minute walk from the boathouse. For access to Manhattan, only the Q train runs on Sundays, approximately every 10 mins. This is definitely approximate since we waited at least 15 mins for a train on a Saturday afternoon. The S train runs every 12 mins to allow you to transfer to other lines in Brooklyn. - By taxi: If you are staying in Manhattan you can have a taxi take you to the edge of the park and walk in from there (2 mins). The taxi will cost between $25-50 depending on your location in Manhattan. Taxis are slightly harder to come by in Brooklyn so if you're staying in Brooklyn you may not easily be able to hail one unless you ask your hotel to help. You also shouldn't count on getting a taxi back home. But you can always call private car service from the reception.

- By car: Guests may enter Prospect Park via the Willink Entrance on Flatbush Avenue, one hundred feet from the traffic light at the intersection of Empire Boulevard and Ocean Avenue, near Lefferts Historic House. Parking is available. Uniformed staff will direct cars to the designated parking area. From there, it is a short walk to the Boathouse.
